The music industry vet throws his legendary pre-Grammy event every year—and stars are often clamoring to get a seat at the occasion. Past guests have included Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Usher and of course the late Whitney Houston. The party is known for often going on into the wee hours of the morning. “If you are tributing Stevie Wonder and he’s supposed to come up and sing one song but decides to sing six or seven songs, there’s no one leaving,” Davis told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year. Touché.
