Anthony Anderson is living his childhood dream. At 9, the Compton native had three goals: play for the Dallas Cowboys, become a lawyer, or be an actor. Obviously, he chose the latter. “I realized that if I became an actor, I could become all three of those things,” Anderson quips. He’s come pretty close.
Anderson’s been racking up TV and film credits for nearly 20 years. His highlights include the Emmy Award-winning series, Law & Order; the gritty cop drama, The Shield; the Matumbo Goldberg Web series; and Black comedy movie favorites such as Barbershop and Two Can Play That Game. Now he’s returning to prime time in Guys With Kids (Wednesdays, 8:30pm ET on NBC), a new sitcom produced by Jimmy Fallon.
